JAX/PIT Final

14:53

HOLMES OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE TD CATCH AND RUN ON A FOURTH DOWN PLAY! About freaking time. Jacksonville still up 28-17.

14:14

The Jaguars have a KC drive (only the passed three times instead of run) and nearly have the punt blocked. Now, all of a sudden, the Steelers now have the ball, time and momentum down 11. This could get interesting. I hope that “interesting” involves another Holmes TD reception.

13:05

Big Ben almost throws another interception, but Durrant dropped it. Wait, I thought he played basketball? Huh.

12:57

Hines Ward is tearing it up. He is dominating the middle of the field and has become really hard to tackle. He’s looks like a weaker Dwayne Bowe with better hands and smarter.

10:25

Big Ben dinks and dunks his way down the field, resulting in a Heath Miller TD catch. Pittsburg goes for two and fails. 28-23 Jacksonville.

Pittsburg did convert the two point conversion on a pass to Hines Ward, but it was wiped out by a holding call. Pittsburg failed on the next attempt. The holding call cost Chris two points. I did not complain.

9:38

Phil Jackson just confirmed that this is a Brokeback Mountain game because there has been so much penetration on both ends.

8:50

Ike Taylor picks off Garrard and all of a sudden Jacksonville looks a lot like the Chiefs. They can’t block, pass, tackle or play special teams. They have absolutely abandoned the running game.

6:21

Davenport runs it in for a TD after a pass interference call in the endzone on a fourth down play. The two point conversion fails. 29-28 Pittsburg.

Jacksonville has to run the ball on this possession. They need to mix it up. They have plenty of time and only need a field goal to take the lead.

4:06

A sack on a third down play forces Jacksonville to punt and all of a sudden it looks like Pittsburg is going to sneak out of this game with a win despite their 28-10 early deficit.

2:56

So much for USC vs Illinois because now it is starting to look like Kansas vs Virginia Tech. Jacksonville has to stop Pittsburg on this 3rd and six if they want to be Kansas.

2:50

Pittsburg decided to run a quarterback drawl. That makes sense…

2:38

Jacksonville takes the punt to their own 49. Where Len Elliot when you need him?

2:26

REGGIE WILLIAMS!

1:42

On 4th and two, David Garrard runs for three fantasy points to the 12-yardline. Wow.

1:30

They just showed the Tony Romo botched snap replay. Oh God I can’t stand the Cowboys.

:37

A Josh Scobee gives Jacksonville a 31-29 lead with a 25-yard field goal. Ward and Holmes have a chance to pick up some serious fantasy points right here.

:20

Big Ben fumbles and Jacksonville recovers to end the game (essentially). Big Ben ends with 18 fantasy points. Rivers has to top that… yikes.
